Can anybody use these? I built em, epoxied em and never used em. They were fit for my 50 g cube that has an overflow on the back wall. PVC fittings make nice little fish caves and there are flaps on the bottom to zip tie to eggcrate on the bottom under the rock so they won't float...

I can meet up if I'm going to sd for some other purpose

DANG! Nice PF John! wish I could add these to my tank, I love the rock wall look!.. Do you think its, a gamble to put them into a full ,cycled tank? they look like they would fit my OF box perfectly! not sure how I would attach them though with the tank still full of water.. any ideas? :)

I don't know how hard it would be to put em in if the tank was full, would probably need to reaquascape around em. They are 9" x 18" each

Probably wouldn't be too hard to cut em but up to you. I'd try em but I think the foam made em too fat for my dims. Just another reef project with no real purpose other than to keep my idle hands busy. They've been in the garage for at least 6 months so time to go!

Hmm.. How thick are they would you guess? I have a corner overflow..i didn't think of that :)

About 2-2.5" but I meant they needed to be 8" wide and not up to 9" with the foam. I've still never tried to fit em, I just waffled on the volume they would take up vs surface area they would provide for mounting plugs.
