Fellow Reefers,
I had hired an engineer to install and test a firewall application. As he installed IPTables something caused Apache to stop working. Soon after the server stopped responding. We were not able to retrieve a recent backup in a timely manner. As our current database grows, I would have issues restoring and not getting the most current data (the last 36hrs). Moving forward all backups are done daily and moved offsite.
I sincerely apologize for the interruption and will take measures to make sure it doesn't happen again.
If you’re experiencing issues with your account due to the outage, please contact me @ webmaster@sandiegoreefs.com.
